Job Description
Overview
The purpose of this role is to generate high quality opportunities that lead to sales closure. This is achieved through ownership of targeted telephone activity, managing inbound enquiries and outbound calls to identify business opportunities. As part of the Lead Development Team this role will require a willingness to share and develop knowledge and experience within the team. As the first point of customer contact it is essential that this role is highly professional and follows the standards agreed.
Responsibilities
- Managing inbound and outbound calls to identify business opportunities with end user accounts, existing customers, greenfield accounts and inbound enquiries
- Conducting high quality, open business conversations with senior business decision makers within the target end user accounts
- Clarify & legitimise the reality, scale and value of opportunities through deep qualification questioning
- Working closely with Account Managers to develop opportunities and feed business in to them with the aim of closing revenue
- Nurturing mid to long term opportunities through regular touch points until they are ready for sales engagement
- Accurately update our records in SalesForce.com Internal communication with Account Managers and marketing function
- Conduct ongoing personal reviews and assess personal performance against targets
- Identify prospects for Lumesse Platform by using various social media tools such as LinkedIn
- Drive email (EDM) campaigns to generate new leads
- Host seminars/webinars for prospects identification
- Assist with creating Customer Use Cases to support sales team with Case Study that can be leveraged across APAC
Requirements and the individual
- Excellent English language, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of telephone marketing is essential preferably in a high-tech industry
- A good knowledge of the technical and commercial aspects of the high-tech sector is desirable
- A high level of proficiency with Windows and Office applications is required
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com is desirable
- Must have a confident personality with a demonstrable ability to quickly build strong rapport
- An ability to flex style and approach to influence and to overcome barriers and objections
- Excellent personal organisation skills in managing time and prioritising
- A positive, enthusiastic and energetic approach to work is essential
- Strongly motivated and results driven
- Ability to work well in a competitive team environment
- Effective problem solver and decision maker
- Willingness to develop knowledge and learn new skills
