Job Description
THE JOB
Reporting to Athlete Affairs Officer and Assistant Athlete Affairs Manager, the Warden will be responsible for the following duties:

To be responsible for the overall daily operation of the Athlete Hostel in accordance with the Hostel’s policies and procedures;

To be responsible for the maintenance of good order and discipline in the Athlete Hostel;

To maintain attendance record and monitor athletes’ residence situation;
-
To provide administration support to the admission exercise for the Athlete Hostel in accordance with the Hostel Application policies;
-
To coordinate and liaise with other operational staff to provide a safe and healthy living environment for the athletes;
-
To conduct regular room inspections as required;

To provide support to a wide range of hostel activities conductive to the personal development and lifestyle support of the athletes;

To work on shift duty.
THE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have completed their secondary education with at least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 HKDSE subjects with at least Level 2 or equivalent, including English, Chinese and Mathematics.

A minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience in hostel operation/ youth service;

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua is a definite advantage;

Strong interpersonal skills, mature and willing to work with athletes;

Hands on experience in computer software application including Chinese Word Processing;

Qualified in first aid or with basic medical knowledge; and
-
Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.
