Brief description:

A Community Leader / Associate is the primary point of contact stationed in the space for the community and as well as the external “face” of Dream Impact. S/he will also lead a team to manage the space and program together. This is a full-time position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Community and Events Management:

• Work with senior leadership to curate community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications
• Get to know our resident and non-resident partners professionally in order to understand how best to add value to their businesses
• Solve partner-related issues to ensure a cohesive community
• Research and reach out to external organizations for potential partnership and collaboration
• Manage space bookings and appointments
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events

Greeting / Point of Contact:

• Greet and check-in guests for tours, track walk-ins and schedule tours
• Answer guests’ questions and complaints or refer inquirer to additional resources

Administration:       

• Prepare the resident and non-resident partnership agreements
• Maintain office security by managing and monitoring key card access, CCTV, and visitor log 
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide callers with information when required
• Mail, package, filing, and photocopying responsibilities as necessary            
• Maintain office supplies and services such as IT support       
• Monitor office expenses and costs

Experience and Requirements

• Passion for social entrepreneurial communities and love working with people  
• College graduate with a four-year degree preferred, but not required
• 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Demonstrate self-motivation, passion, integrity, honesty, responsibility, self-awareness, work ethic and empathy
• Proficient in basic computer skills
