Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Assist Chef de Cuisine in monitoring and ensuring the high standards of food quality and consistency and dish presentations.
  • Maintain smooth kitchen daily operations to supervise and motivate team members on day to day works, lead and coach team members to improve their knowledge and skills to maximize productivity
  • Responsible for ordering and food storage, maintain stock leave and minimize wastage
  • Maintain good conditions for the kitchen supplies, equipment and work areas conforming to the company standard
  • Identity problems in kitchen, find solutions and suggest corrective actions
  • Assist in generating recipes, designing and developing new menus, special and festive menus
  • Work closely with Chef de Cuisine and Restaurant Manager on marketing plans, restaurant developments and promotions

 

REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Diploma in culinary or relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years relevant experience with 3 years in supervisory level
  • Good knowledge of Italian cuisine will be an advantage
  • Strong leadership, hardworking, well-organized, good team-player and work independently
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and good command of English
