Responsibilities

• Work closely with merchandising team and product development team from initial product development till mass production
• Review samples during product development with merchandisers
• Manage the quality and risk assessment from development to mass production
• Set up the quality protocol and necessary testing for the QC team
• Monitor and supervise the testing with our internal lab in China and third party testing companies
• Ensure that products and services meet customer needs and expectations to fulfil corporate quality objectives
• Manage the corrective action process to resolve manufacturing defect and production improvement with factories

Requirements:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience on manufacturing and control processes for Bags, Fashion Jewellery, Fashion Accessories and Sundries.
• Mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Hands-on experience, proactive, good problem solving and analytical skill.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Proven manufacturing & production implementation experience
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Frequent travel to factories in China
