Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the appointee will be required to:

• organise marketing events in line with the corporate branding strategies;
• be responsible for the operations and logistics of the marketing events and event management, etc.;
• coordinate with both internal departments and external parties for implementation of marketing activities;
• liaise with external vendors for design and production of promotional materials/ equipment for these marketing events;
• handle membership administration and promotion;
• manage delegation/ guests visits;
• manage documentations for business development operations, including the regular government reports, annual plan and relevant supporting documents, etc.;
• provide administrative support to the business development team and assist in organizing and maintaining the Institute’s central filing system; and
• perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• a recognised degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management or a related discipline;
• at least 5 or more years of relevant experience in event management, preferably in public organisations or large-sized multinational corporations;
• passionate in organizing events with good communication and coordination skills to manage external and internal parties;
• a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
• attention to details with ability to work independently under tight schedule; and
• high Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Access, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and website management software.
