Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring wages payment and MPF contribution, EC follow up for all workers and validate all related employment records
  • Conduct random inspection on sites to verify the identity of workers and to promote effective communication with workers
  • Be responsible for handling complaints and enquiries from workers on any matters relating to the payment of wages and other employment conditions
  • Provide all necessary assistance to the workers for referring the complaint cases to the Labour Department if necessary
  • Work in collaboration with the Labour Department to investigate and verify the validity of the complaints
  • Co-ordinate with project teams on the sub-contractor’s document submission
  • To prepare the monthly report of WMS to the Project teams
  • Based on Head Office and directly report to Head of HR
  • Assist in organizing sub-contractors’ or staff activities
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary qualification in administrative or human resources management is preferable or HKCEE/HKDSE graduate with 5 subjects at Grade E or above including English Syllabus B, Chinese & Mathematics at least
  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on working experience in dealing with sub-contractors’ document collection, with good knowledge and experience of the operation and practices of the construction industry
  • Completed Labour Relations Officer course is preferred
  • Well-versed HK Employment Ordinance & related ordinances, familiar with payroll, EC and MPF administration
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in using MS Office application and Chinese word processing
  • Prefer working in office environment
