Research Officer

Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre

The appointee is expected to (i) assist the undergraduate and postgraduate students in statistical and research design issues related to their projects; and (ii) assist other duties from time to time as assigned by the department heads.

Requirements

Applicants should (i) have a master’s degree including strong methods/statistical components, in psychology; (ii) have solid experience in conducting academic research and proposal writing; and (iii) be familiar with the more common research tools, including SPSS, Mplus and SAS amongst others.  Applicants with knowledge in qualitative research design and methodology will be an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits

Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract for one year.
