Qualifications

• Form 6 / 7 graduate with at least three (3) years working experiences, preferably in aviation services
• Competency in typing, computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Network / Data Communication)
•  Knowledge of general clerical duties
•  Knowledge of industry safety requirement from OSHC
• Holding driving licence for vehicle 1,2 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

QSO, directly reporting to the Manager Quality & Safety (MQS), is responsible for

• preparing distributions of reviewed expositions and keeping them up to date
• maintaining engineers and mechanics mandatory training records and certificates relative to airworthiness requirements and such other records and statistics as may be required
• maintaining the controlled issue of certification authorisation records
• maintaining the controlled issue of certification stamps
• coordinating with aviation authorities and customer airlines for company approvals applications, training certificates and certification authorisations
• collecting questionnaires and bi-yearly reviews of approved suppliers for QSE to review and assess
• preparing escort permits application for QS visitors
• providing necessary assistance to auditors during external audits
• preparing quarterly audit summary reports to GM after MQS approval
  assisting MQS for the company safety issues, coordinating with Airport Authority for Safety Campaign and safety meetings
• performing safety surveillance on the company with Office and Ramp Safety Audit checklist to ensure that regulatory safety standards are maintained
• being a member of SMS committee as Safety Review Officer and conducting annual safety review of the company and submitting report to Labour Department
• maintaining filing system of Quality and Safety department
• assessing AIC sub-contractor by carrying out surveys and studies on the daily aircraft cleaning services for their performances according to customer airline operators’ requirements
