Responsibilities

• Direct report to Group FC and responsible for the financial reporting and analysis for reviewing financial performance of the Company and subsidiaries within the timelines
• Supervise staff to manage work activities including daily AP/AR/bank activities, general ledger, month-end closing, cash flow statements and financial reporting, tax computation, audit preparation and budget forecasting,
• Supervise accounting staffs in HK and China office, handle HK & PRC tax and statutory compliance matters
• Correspond with the management executives and the controller about finance and accounting issues to provide responses, suggestions and advisories
• Liaise with financial adviser, auditors, bankers and lawyers.
• Participate in reviewing and development effective financial/accounting policies and internal control procedures
• Able to identify problems, advise and solve out before aroused
• Support any ad-hoc business development/investment projects when needed

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Min. 8 years solid Accounting experience with actual retail industry experience is preferable
• Familiar with Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards, taxation, customs, banking, legal and government regulations and practices
• Experience in cost accounting, inventory control and good at business advice
• Good in computerized accounting software and MS excel
• Strong time management skills, problem-solving skills, leading and team supervising skills
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
• Regular travel to PRC offices (Guangzhou & Shanghai) is required
