Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procurement and material, product sourcing activities, cost control and inventory control.
• Negotiate and work with suppliers to build mutually beneficial relationships to ensure long term strategic partnership, leading to lower cost and higher margin.
• Develop and enhance supplier network and relationships to ensure right price, quality and on-time deliveries.
• Liaison with other teams to ensure effective integration with Corporate pricing strategies.
• Perform all necessary administrative duties for the Group Procurement Team.
• Source potential suppliers and support the team to introduce the new products to the Operating teams and perform follow-up works.
• Manage contractual relationships with suppliers.
• Train subordinates ensuring that they are customer and product focused.

Requirements:

• Professional Diploma or Degree in Purchasing or related business discipline.
• Minimum 4 years solid experience with Product and Suppliers Sourcing and Merchandising from Food & Beverage is a MUST.
• Self-motivation, well organized, efficient and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Achievement and goal oriented with good organizational skills.
• Demonstrable strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle high pressure situations and deadlines.
• Good spoken English and Chinese; Japanese is preferable.
