Senior merchandiser﹣5 days work

Consumer Solutions Worldwide (CSW) Co., Ltd. 

A  major manufacturer of lawn and garden products is looking for below candidate to cope with our expansion in Hong Kong.

 Responsibilities:

l  Provide total support to Manager on sourcing, ordering, shipment and new product development and data entry.

l  To identify and develop new business opportunities;

l  To responsible for sourcing and increasing turnover of the company;

l  To source and develop new product range for existing and potential client's market;

l  Sample follow up at different stages; purchase order issuing and related document to suppliers; signed contract tracking;

l  Assist quality department to obtain all necessary documentation;

l  To keep abreast of the market information and to share with HQ Sourcing counter-part periodically, e.g. trade news, offshore news on prices on material, labor as well as competitors’ activities and vendors’ capabilities...etc.

l  To communicate manufacturing issues to senior and support for identifying root causes and work for resolution proactively.

l  To assist/support in review the monthly buy reports, forecast and capacity planning with manufacturing facilities.

l  Other duties assigned as needed. Maintain factory and quality compliance

l  Strong business acumen to enable the development of business relationship.

Requirements :

l  F.5 or above, preferably Merchandising Diploma Graduate

l  5 years relevant experience preferably in garden manufacturing.

l  Experience in Sundries, Novelties, Product Development, Hardware, General Merchandise is a must.

l  Experiences in US buying office is essential

l  Experience in lawn and garden productsor importing directly for chain stores or department stores merchandise and familiar with the procedures will be an added value

l  Good experience in handling vendor factories

l  Good computer knowledge in Excel/ Word

l  Travel to China and Fluent Mandarin + English is a must

l  Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.

l  Mature, independent, detail-minded, initiative, stable with good interpersonal and communication skills

l  Willing to work under pressure and overtime.

l  Computer literature. Proficient in MS office;

l  Immediately available
