Reporting to the Managing Director, Physical Security, the main focus of the Business Development Associate will be to originate sales meetings. Other tasks will include: 

• Map the market and identify client targets, and plan the key messages for the targets
• Formulate sales campaigns to reach out to the targets; this will include compiling the relevant marketing materials
• Implement sales campaigns, including warm calling and meeting generation
• Prepare proposals, pitch documents and statements of qualification
• Assist in the coordination of client and potential client relationship management
• Work with the marketing team on the production of security-specific marketing materials, including thought leadership pieces and case studies

 Required skills and experience: 

• An exceptionally well-organized and proactive individual
• At least 3 years’ experience of formulating and executing sales campaigns with an excellent meeting origination record
• Solid experience in proposal writing, with fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin; knowledge of Cantonese will be an advantage
• Curiosity, tenacity, and ability to forge client relationships
• A strong team work ethic and excellent people skills
• A highly professional and commercial approach to identifying business opportunities and unquestionable discretion in dealing with confidential information
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in security and / or a consultancy is an advantage, but not mandatory
