We are looking for a DevOps engineer with strong technical experience to build an enterprise-grade hybrid cloud infrastructure and advances the container services for all development teams.  Stable, Scalable and Cost-Effective is vital to the success of our AI and big data products, which enable smart decision-making in Chinese markets and tell stories from billions of media data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Build the Kubernetes Clusters and Service Discovery Infrastructure used by the development team
• Establish best practices and policies on the container services usage
• Capacity Planning and Incident Handling on the container services
• Identify the opportunity for continual improvements

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
• Solid Hand-On Experience in Container related technology (e.g. Docker, K8S, Service Mesh)
• Passionate building an enterprise graded infrastructure that is scalable and empowers hundreds of developers
• Hands on technical skills in at least two of the following areas:
  • Large scale Linux server farm administration
  • Public cloud services integration (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Monitoring Tools (e.g. Zabbix Prometheus, GrayLog, ELK)
  • DevOps-related Automation Tools (e.g. Ansbile, Terraform)
  • Network application systems (e.g. DNS, web, proxy, load balancer, distributed file systems)
• Flexible and hardworking, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to communicate efficiently in Mandarin is essential
