Requirements    : 

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• 12 years working experience in the building industry and at least 7 years in the superstructure construction
• MHKIE or MICE or MIStructE is preferred
• Job reference with HKHA projects is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP2000
• Familiar with BD Regulation and Code of Practice
• Leadership skill, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English & Cantonese

Responsibilities:  

• Prepare and checking of all temporary works and design.
• Monitoring and follow site progress of the design development and the temporary works design.
• Check and review all discrepancy between Architectural drawings and Structural drawings.
• Monitor, review and modify if necessary the design works being carried out by the subcontractors including design work by NSC.
• Supervise the construction of all structural work including work by NSC.
• Collaborate with contractors in resolving any co-ordination and construction problems.
• Coordinate and liaise with the consultant and relevant Authorities for submission, approval, consent, inspection and testing, and prepare relevant document for OP at appropriate times.
• Attend and be well-prepared for all meetings and inspections.
• Supervise and direct the work of engineer subordinate.
