Job Description

Responsibilities:

Compliance and transactional role
Act as Company Secretary of the listed entities as may be required and compliance matters, able to work independently
Work closely with PRC business and legal teams on onshore transactions/matters to ensure Hong Kong compliance and responsible for Hong Kong and offshore transactions, in each case with support from external advisors on significant projects
Handle procurement process for external professional firms, mainly international law firms
Handle internal reporting process and assist in key communications with senior management and board members
Participation in ad hoc projects

Requirements:-

A corporate lawyer qualified in Hong Kong with 10 years of PQE
Solid experience in Hong Kong listed Co. compliance work, company secretary, ECM and DCM fundraisings (experience with PRC real estate developers, M&As and bank financing preferred)
Good project and people management skills
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua a plus)
Adaptive, a team player, with commercial awareness and keen to be part of the business
