Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • manage system, web and application servers, including maintenance, administration, backup and restore, and health check
  • maintain network, storage, hardware, OS, software, applications and firewalls for both on-premises and VM platforms
  • manage IT assets in proper documentation and prepare routine IT documentation
  • administer WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi
  • collaborate in IT infrastructure projects
  • provide technical support to end users on IT issues - install, configure and troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices and IT equipment
  • handle any ad-hoc projects as instructed by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years’ experience in technical support for desk side and server side
  • Hands-on experience in server installation, configuration, backup and restore
  • Experience in any of the following skills is an advantage
    • Network & Security – Cisco, Fortigate
    • SAN storage – HP and DELL
    • Hypervisor – Hyper-V and VMware
    • Cloud – AWS, Microsoft Azure
    • Products – Microsoft (Windows Server, Windows 10, Intune, WSUS, Defender), Veeam, JIRA
