Our client is a well-established FMCG group in Hong Kong. For the business needs, they are inviting an experienced & creative talent to join the energetic research & development team as R&D Manager to develop new product.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all new product/process development projects
• Facilitate communications between internal stakeholders and external customers
• Food safety, new product ideation, new raw material sourcing, new product development, cost effective and operation capability for all projects
• Assist the Senior R&D Manager for new product development, food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance
• Keep up to date market trend on new products
• Lead the team to develop line extension of flavors, new product categories and new processing
• Present the monthly KPI review of new product development for management
• Ensure new products are cost effective and competitive to the market
• Review and establish guidelines and procedures for new product development to ensure compliance with Headquarter requirement

Requirements

• Degree or above in Food Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years working experience in food industry
• With food manufacturing and with sauce manufacturing experience are highly preferred
• Innovative and sensitive to new ideas
• Good team player, self-initiative and strong sense of responsibility
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Chinese
