Our client is one of the leading FMCG companies in Hong Kong.  Due to the business needs, they are inviting potential candidate to join the procurement team.

Responsibilities

• Improve procurement efficient and setup sourcing strategies in order to meet the group goals and objective
• Involve in contract negotiation, review supply sources and procurement process based on global procurement policy and procedure
• Assist overseas procurement function to process sourcing activities to ensure the daily operation run smoothly and continues improvement
• Follow global OEM policy and guideline to observe and source suitable OEM vendors
• Work with marketing and R&D function to oversee OEM projects
• Assist to negotiate with OEM suppliers about the contract terms, pricing and qualify requirements
• Source and develop new OEM suppliers to enhance market, price competition and product efficiency
• Monitor the supplier performance to ensure the quality and services in compliance with corporate standard
• Formulate effective contingency plan on core materials supply to ensure the production continuity
• Perform complete regulatory compliance to enhance food safety and achieve stable stock turnover

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science or Chemistry or above in related discipline
• With in-depth knowledge of edible, packaging materials in food industry
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience and 5 years purchasing management experience in FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing
• Proven executive leadership and management skills in driving changes and transformation
• Strong senses of integrity, team player and capable to work under pressure
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Travel to overseas or PRC is required
• SAP experience is preferred
