General scope of work:

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, DT, the Business System Analyst is responsible for providing all-round mobile related technical and application support. Further, proceeding whole system development life cycle for the computer applications; preparing system specifications, user manuals & operation procedures; and organizing user training.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle mobile application deployment and mobility related support, including
  • O365 Accounts and mobile device related assets management
  • Mobile application related content management and regular data / report generation from global and regional dashboard
• Perform trouble shooting and resolving challenges, record and analyze the related results for the applications.  Liaise with helpdesk or vendor to resolve and follow up the technical issues
• Design, develop & enhance the software applications for business system projects
• Collect & analyze user requirements, perform system and database design according to the project requirements
• Review and monitor the local and area business applications, manage data storage and applications performance
• Support management decision in providing technical assessment for IT projects
• Prepare system documents including Feasibility Study Report, System Specification, User manual and Program Modification Log
• Provide user training for new applications and features update, and maintain backup for the latest program source
• Explore new information technologies to support the business needs and performance enhancement.
• Perform duty in consideration of and incorporate Environment, Health and Safety as key element.
• Participate and support company Environment, Health and Safety activities and training as required.
• Perform responsibilities in compliance with the Otis Code of Ethics.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or any IT related discipline
• 5 years’ relevant experience on DT / IT mobile application system development
• Knowledge on SDLC, M365, MDM, MS Sharepoint, Windows and iOS platform, MS Azure,
• Experience in application development under .net, SQL Server and web-enabled environment is preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Independent, logical mind with problem solving skills
