We are looking for a Manager, Data Platform in Technology & Innovation department who is responsible for delivery & management of enterprise-wide data solutions. Working with our team of Technology & Innovation leaders the Manager of Data will design and deliver solution to handle business need for data coming from multiple source systems. This person will lead a team of data & Business Intelligence professionals in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The Manager, Data Platform in Technology & Innovation department reports to the Head of Data and Business Intelligence.

What You’ll Do

The Manager, Data Platform role will be a leading technical expert for many innovative data projects at Kerry. In this role, you will intensively involve in inhouse developed and vendor developed source data collection, transformation, and analysis. You will be responsible for the development and management of the data platform serving multiple business units reporting and data analytics need. 

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for data platform and source data extraction analysis, design, development, testing and system implementation and automation
• Co-ordinate daily data platform operation and support
• Review system quality and deliver data solution from end-to-end
• Understand key business domain’s data models and business process flows to identify their interaction in the corporate data platform
• Build data infrastructure for scalable data mart/ data warehousing/ data platform / data visualization and reporting solution for analytics purposes
• Coordinate with other teams on interdependencies (upstream systems) that impact any of the data platforms
• Manage projects and collaborate within and across the wider technology teams
• Follow iterative system development life cycle methodologies
• Self-management with adapts and leading the team to change in routine with positive attitude when working in fast paced situations

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience designing and implementing high quality data warehouse / data mart solutions. This person possesses excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written) and capable of championing an architectural vision to meet and exceed business objectives.

Your professional experiences and key competencies would include, but not limited to:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in field
• 10+ years data-warehouse/data-mart solution design and delivery experience using numerous relationship database technologies
• Proficient in SQL query, including performance tuning, preferably on Oracle PL/SQL
• Hands-on experience in providing data platforms support
• Hands-on experience in ETL design and implementation, preferably Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Hands-on experience in BI tools (Tableau)
• Sounds knowledge in cloud platform, including big data solutions
• Sounds knowledge in data engineering tools, e.g. Python, shell scripting
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Candidate will be judged on ability to work effectively with project teams. The position requires constant communication with colleagues from different locations.
