Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Being part of the Member Services team, the incumbent will be responsible for membership marketing, industry groups communication and event management to support members acquisition and retention.
The Officer reports to Assistant Manager and performs the following duties:
- Provide hands-on support on corporate events, members activities and provide marketing services in Hong Kong and the Mainland in formats of seminars, exhibitions, missions, award schemes, business matching, and other business-related networking events, etc.;
- Provide secretariat services to the assigned industrial groups and committees for membership services, including preparation of meeting agenda, papers and minutes as well as supporting the industry group-wide initiatives such as funding application and implementation of marketing projects;
- Drive members acquisition and retention through members visit and provide high-quality services to members;
- Prepare promotional materials, i.e. flyers, brochures, eDM, social media positing for event marketing and promotion;
- Maintain excellent communication and relationship with members, internal and external parties for better results;
- Provide support to any other ad-hoc duties and activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate in marketing, event management, public relations, communication, journalism, hospitality or business-related disciplines;
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience; working in trade/business associations or governmental offices preferred, but not essential;
- Previous experience in Committees’ support would be an advantage;
- Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded and good sense of responsibility;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
