How you will make an impact:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing fund accounting, fund administration, and investment support for an investment portfolio. He or she will lead a small team not only provide support to Investment Team but also ensure accurate and efficient execution of investment operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Oversee and manage the fund accounting process, including NAV calculations, cash and position reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of transaction settlements, drawdown notices, and valuations.
• Handle full-set of accounts, month-end close process, and financial reports.
• Coordinate the audit process and manage taxation planning.
• Monitor investment guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mandates.
• Prepare management accounts and Investment Committee meeting materials on a timely basis in collaboration with the Investment Team.
• Assist in preparing minutes of Investment Committee meetings.
• Manage the KYC process for bank accounts and investments in collaboration with the investment team.
• Collaborate with external service providers, such as bank back-office teams, auditors, and fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance and company secretary, to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

What we are looking for: 

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Preferably CPA or ACCA certified, or CFA with accounting experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial services, fund services, or accounting.
• Strong diplomatic and effective communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
• Meticulous with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP (S/4) is an advantage.
• Strong command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
