Job Description
ACADEMIC REGISTRY
The Academic Quality Support Section is seeking a self-motivated individual for the position of Executive Officer. The appointee is expected to provide administrative support and perform duties in various functional areas of the Section, including but not restricted to:

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and follow-up activities for various institutional reviews and external quality audits of the University;
- Support the University's academic quality assurance procedures such as Academic Consultation Panel Visits, Departmental Academic Advisors Scheme, and Programme Accreditation exercises;
- Assist in the review and implementation of academic quality assurance policies and procedures for ongoing enhancement;
- Provide secretarial support to major committees;
- Liaise with internal and external parties on quality assurance initiatives;
- Provide support to the administration of the University-wide Course Evaluation exercises;
- Handle enquiries and requests relevant to quality assurance matters; and
- Supervise a team of junior executive staff in the respective areas of duties.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree plus at least five years of relevant work experience in the tertiary education sector. Experience in academic quality assurance will be an advantage;
- Self-motivation with a positive work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to cope with changes and meet tight timelines are essential; and
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficiency in computer application skills.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
