PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

This Visual Merchandiser will help us to increase the sales by getting the visitors attention and providing an excellent visual experience, implementing all Marketing visual concepts and strategies in our 6 stores at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

This person will collaborate closely with Marketing and Retail Operations Teams to implement and maintain all communication materials at our stores (point of sales, material displays, light box, signage, digital screens, vouchers, coupons, leaflets, banners etc.) directly reporting to a Design & Construction Manager.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure strict compliance with Company and Brand directions in merchandise presentation standard
• Assist with the ordering and co-ordination of installation of promotional material in order to enhance products, create interest and generate sales
• Assist with the planning and implementation of monthly VM changes, seasonal installations, marketing activation, etc.
• Prepare photo reports of seasonal changes to the Headquarters
• Ensure all in-store signage is in line with Company standard
• Produce visual design for store specific workshops & events when necessary
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing & production team to assess signage needs
• Source & design props and other display fittings and materials
• Work with vendors to produce VM props and other display fittings
• Coach store team on design concepts, visual display standards, maintenance of the overall display in order to support the ongoing marketing campaigns

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES 
 

• At least 3 year of relevant experience as in store VM in beauty-fashion retail companies (preferably Travel Retail, and at HKIA is a plus);
• Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop is a must;
• Solid in field experience to monitor the installation, dismantlement and changes of VM;
• Good communication skills to present ideas and messages to others;
• Fluent in spoken English is required;
• Visual/spatial/aesthetical awareness in order to set up attractive, impelling and productive results;
• Ability to concentrate and work to meet tight deadlines;
• Keep abreast of current trends and activities in design, fashion and culture
• Creative, imaginative and energetic with a flair for design and colour
