Responsibilities:

• Proactively trade/expand the permitted trading products to seize market opportunities and maximize the NIM
• Refresh and optimize daily pricing for different type of money markets products with in depth understanding of pricing methods and revenue drivers
• Understand the balance sheet structure and work with the team for OCI bond investment decisions and execution with focus on high quality bonds (A- or above)
• Further develop the desk’s liabilities advantage by trading actively in the inter-bank FX swap, cross currency repo thereby lowering funding cost and increasing revenue.
• Lead strong governance and controls to ensure all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal limits and advise strategies to maximize profit within risk framework.
• Support and actively participate in formulating hedging strategy of the banking book exposure (IRS)
• Swiftly response to volatile financial markets condition,  recommend different trading products and strategies to design up-to-date treasury products
• Lead in the investment related projects and new initiatives and participate in ad hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in active money market dealing role, either in reputable bank treasury department or global markets.
• Thorough knowledge of business practice and principles and in-depth understanding of rates, fixed income and FX products
• Good sense of risk management and must be comfortable with risk-adverse culture
• Required licensing and registrations as applicable. Advance analytical and numerical competency
• Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
