Job Description
Job Summary
- The purpose of the role is to maximize new business acquisitions and referral opportunities, and deepen existing customer relationships for our Priority Clients segment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling with customers to meet their financial goals.
• Foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis for local and international financial products.
• Consult with the branch manager/ PTL and create monthly plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, meeting new business and customer acquisition goals.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities to gain customer acquisition.
• Source and call on individual prospects.
• Provide quality and efficient after-sales services.
• Manage anti-attrition and retention of clients.
• Organise and conduct sales presentations to groups, clubs, associations, companies and other organisations.
• Solicit referrals from other parts of SCB eg. RMs from C&I, staff, etc.
Technical Competencies
• Finance related studies relating to financial planning, portfolio reviews and asset allocations.
• Understanding of the core concepts, principles, processes and procedures of Wealth Management and Banking.
• CMFAS Exams.
• Experience in managing clients in the HK Market.
• Good understanding and ability to speak in HK (the role holder will be supporting the NRI market).

Risk Management
- To comply with all relevant policies and procedures covering regulatory, local and group requirements
- To ensure that control procedures outlined in various Branch Operations Manuals or Procedure Manuals are fully implemented, and ensure staff compliance with the same.
- To comply with the control requirements in the laid down procedures or Manual relevant to the job responsibilities.

- Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Qualifications
- Solid Years of Frontline Experience within Banking Industry
- Current TR and RI License Holder highly preferred
