Our client “Educational Publishing House, Limited” is seeking a Senior Editor / Managing Editor 人文學科教材出版編輯 (Humanities) to join their company! 

What you’ll be doing? 

• Project planning and management, including product and market research
• Review scripts and monitor editorial works
• Liaise with authors and illustrators to develop projects
• Provide editorial training and/or supervision/coaching for junior editorial staff
• Assist in promotional activities with sales and marketing teams
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Who are they looking for? 

• University graduate in related subject
• Preferably in Humanities / Liberal Studies / History / Sociology / Geography / Education / Language
• Minimum 6 years editorial or teaching experience, with Textbook publishing experience is a distinct advantage
• Attention to details
• Good command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input
• Organized and self-motivated
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Editor/Assistant Editor position
