Our client “The Independent Schools Foundation Academy Ltd” is seeking a Technical Officer to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

• Responsible for operation and management of the technical facilities
• Provide supports and solutions to users on FM work requests
• Maintain all necessary record under SAP and Internal Systems
• Work under the supervision of Technical Manager to assist in the operation and maintenance of FS, MEP services and other technical items
• Monitor the performance of R&M and other services contractors
• Responsible for preparation on service contracts
• Assist to handle pre-management of new buildings, including defects handling
• Assist in the preparation of works orders and site instruction to contractors
• Assist in checking of payment bills, as-fitted drawings, operation and maintenance manuals submitted by contractors
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties
• Attend to urgent breakdown of building services, emergency incidents, enquires or complaints and provide effective solution, sometimes outside of normal office hours
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Technical Manager / Facilities Manager/ Head of Project and Facilities Management. 

Who are they looking for?

• Higher Diploma or above in any discipline of Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical aspect of Property Management Company, Maintenance Contractor or relevant job exposure, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
• Experience working in sizable and complex organizations, experience in NGO or education sectors would be an advantage
• Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A or above and Green Card
• Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade B is preferable
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua/Mandarin
• Strong in multiple tasks under a tight schedule and rapidly changing environment.
