Job Description
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-forprofit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Duties: The appointee is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals and vendors/contractors for the development, implementation, maintenance and quality assurance of IT systems. Duties will include managing development project activities; designing application systems; reviewing application development methodology; identifying opportunities for system/service improvement; enforcing information security measures and managing the change of new IT solutions to meet corporate needs.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines;
(b) At least 8 years’ working experience in IT professions and with at least 5 years in supervisory position;
(c) Proficient in Java EE frameworks, REST, React Native, Cloud application; preferably applying in large scale enterprise systems;
(d) Experience in delivering business solutions with the adaptation of big data analytics, AI and Automation, machine learning and Web3 technologies would be an advantage;
(e) Knowledge in standards and methodologies i.e. AgilePM/PMP/PRINCE2 and ISO standards ISO20000 and ISO27001;
(f) Strong leadership and strategic thinking ability, and skills in interpersonal, communications, problem solving and self-motivation; and
(g) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
