Our client Unimax Property Consultancy Limited is seeking a Contract Property Service Officer to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

• To carry out day-to-day property/tenancy management of estates and to assist in the implementation of housing polices. 
• To undertake the letting and re-letting of domestic units, non-domestic units and car parking spaces and to cany out duties in relation to the mass intake of tenants in new housing estates 
• To deal with rents matters and render special services to needy and elderly families. 
• To process applications for other housing benefit schemes and voluntary transfer. 
• To assist in enforcement of the Deed of Mutual Covenant in estates with divested properties. 
• To make suggestions for the improvement of the estates, to conduct surveys and to collect information from tenants. 
• To process requests for repair works. 
• To assist in monitoring the performance of service contractors. 
• To deal with enquires, requests 

Who are they looking for?

• Attained Level 3 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or 

(ii) attained Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3/Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent

• Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese; and 
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
• Good interpersonal skills
• 3 years relevant working experience as Project Management Officer, Housing Officer or similar post with duties in relation to property management in Hong Kong Housing Authority / Housing Department, Hong Kong Housing Society or licensed property management companies licensed by Property Management Services Authority (PMSA). If the working experience is with these property management companies, only the experience gained while the company was licensed under PMSO will be counted
• Either hold a property management practitioner (PMP) (Tier 1 or Tier 2) license by PMSA or be a practicing member of one of the following professional institutions: 

(i) The Hong Kong Institute of Housing; 

(ii) The Chartered Institute of Housing; 

(iii) The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (General Practice Division or Property and Facility Management Division); 

(iv) The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (General Practice Division); 

(v) Housing Managers Registration Board. 

• The additional requirements below would be an advantage for Contract Property Services Officers deployed to work of Estate Management Division at HA Headquarters : - 

(a) creative thinking and willing to support the development of new computer system by conducting user trial and acceptance tests; and 

(b) knowledge of domestic and/or non-domestic tenancy management, contract management, retail and carpark management.
