Job Description
The Department
The Assistant Human Resources Manager (Change Management) reports to the Deputy Executive Manager Change Management and User Adoption. The role will support the Deputy Executive Manager Change Management and User Adoption to plan and deliver the Change Management plan and readiness activities including but not limited to; change impact assessment analysis, management of the Ways of Working Advocates, communications, training, stakeholder management and collateral design development primarily across the overall Ways of Working Transformation encompassing the Digital Workplace transformation. The role will also support the Pegasus transformation where required.
The role will also provide support to the Deputy Executive Manager Change Management in broader initiatives where required, including Digital Workplace and Office Reimagination.
This role requires an open minded, high-energy individual with a passion for positive organisation cultures and change as well as a growth and learning mindset and ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
The Job
You will:
- Support and implement change activities for the transformation initiatives to ensure successful implementation of the program. These include; change impact assessment analysis, management of the Ways of Working Advocate network, communications and engagement plans, campaigns, training, readiness and post implementation support activities
- Support the change plan and change impact assessments using change methodologies and design thinking techniques to understand the impact on employees for the change
- Assist with managing effective stakeholder engagement, maintaining consistent, clear and concise communications and identify and manage issues and risks relating to stakeholders and adjust stakeholder management plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement
- Actively support the development and management of the Ways of Working Advocate network, coordinate regular meetings, updates and report back to project team
- Support the development, design and implementation of change management collateral including; communication campaigns, engagement and awareness campaigns, multimedia, training guides, training materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business relationships and project delivery
- Collate and analyse metrics/feedback and execute readiness surveys to highlight trends and readiness and suggest adjustments to action plans as needed
- Support the change management project planning, ensuring we are meeting milestones and have effective planning, reporting and risk management in place for all initiatives
- Work with the project team and business to ensure employee satisfaction and adjust the change plan as necessary
- Champion change and recruit champions of change
About You
Ideal qualification / experience:
- 3 years overall work experience in a corporate role
- Understanding of Change Management methodologies
- Understanding of the bigger picture and business and customer value and ability to deliver benefits
- Understanding of design thinking techniques
- Experience and competent in MS Suite and analytical tools
- A growth mindset and ability to challenge the status quo
- Strong analytical skills and synthesizing data
- Experience in project delivery (planning, scoping, implementing)
- Facilitation skills, written and verbal communication skills, and influencing skills
- Ability to construct and present compelling presentation decks in PowerPoint to stakeholder groups
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond positively to complexity and uncertainty
- Ability to facilitate and run workshops with various stakeholders using interactive tools to ensure engagement
- High levels of self-awareness and situational awareness
- Strong innovation and creativity, and ability to design, develop, implement and evaluate solutions to unique business situations
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
