My client is a well-established private banking group that offers a range of wealth management services to private clients and institutions. The bank's services include wealth planning, investment management, and advisory services, as well as traditional banking services such as lending, deposits, and foreign exchange.

Your new role

• Advise and challenge client onboarding processes proactively.
• Oversee monitoring effectiveness and enhance controls related to KYC.
• Communicate and report KYC and AML/CFT issues promptly, providing practical solutions.
• Independently review RMs' accounts for compliance with internal and regulatory expectations.
• Manage KYC backlogs efficiently.
• Identify and escalate gaps to the Head of AML & KYC.
• Ensure timely and high-quality suspicious transaction reporting during CDD/KYC.
• Prepare KRI and management information for governance and risk management reports.
• Handle internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Cantonese, English and Mandarin speaking is a must
• 10+ years in KYC/AML field, private banking experience is preferred
• Advanced degree or professional certifications would be an advantage
