Job Description:

• Conducting in-depth market research and feasibility analysis to identify optimal locations for new manufacturing plants in Southeast Asia countries like Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand
• Evaluating local infrastructure, supplier networks, labor markets, and regulatory environments to determine the most viable options for our expansion
• Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site selection and facility design to construction, equipment procurement, and operational setup
• Building and managing cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of all project workstreams
• Liaising with local government authorities, partners, and stakeholders to navigate the regulatory landscape and secure necessary approvals and permits
• Developing robust project plans, budgets, and timelines, and closely monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Providing strategic recommendations to senior management on the most promising opportunities for expansion in Southeast Asia

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the manufacturing sector
• Proven track record of successfully leading the establishment of new production facilities in international markets
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business environments
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to effectively communicate plans and progress to stakeholders
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of Mandarin Chinese 
• Willingness to travel extensively to Southeast Asia countries
