You will be responsible for:

  • planning, organising, and delivering community-centred events, including but not limited to in-museum activities for community groups, outreach activities, performances, and festivals;

  • supporting the preparation of grant proposals and sponsorship applications to secure funding for community engagement initiatives; and

  • performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by HKPM.

You should:

  • have a minimum of 8 years’ experience managing sizeable teams with varied responsibilities in learning, interpretation, or public engagement within the arts, cultural, or educational sectors;

  • have strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills;

  • demonstrate expertise in developing educational content and resources;

  • have up-to-date knowledge of best practices, emerging theories, and methodologies in museum learning and community engagement;

  • have familiarity with digital platforms and technologies that support discovery and learning, both online and on-site;
