Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain group-wide infrastructure and network systems, including data centers

• Provide IT services, solutions and implementations to support business objectives

• Design, implement and maintain IT security systems; develop and enforce security policies

• Manage and support group communication systems (e-mail, VoIP, conferencing platforms)

• Monitor and optimize the performance of servers, software and hardware components

• Administer and maintain Oracle databases; ensure high availability and performance tuning

• Develop, test and maintain backup, recovery and disaster-recovery plans; conduct regular drills

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems and applications

• Manage IT assets and software licenses; ensure compliance with corporate and vendor policies

• Write and maintain SOPs, technical documentation and runbooks; promote process standardization (ITIL)

• Automate routine tasks and deployments via scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for system integrations and support

• Participate in IT budgeting and cost-control initiatives; recommend optimizations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, with 8+ years of IT operations experience

• Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise network systems and data centers

• Deep knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)

• Hands-on expertise with Windows, Linux, UNIX and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)

• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus

• Proficiency in SAN storage solutions, email servers and group communication platforms

• Strong Oracle database administration skills; backup, recovery and performance tuning

• Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms (Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Skilled in scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and configuration management

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.)

• Working knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault or equivalent)

• Understanding of identity and access management (Active Directory, LDAP) and regular auditing

• ITIL certification or equivalent framework experience; PMP or Prince2 certification preferred

• Excellent communication skills in English; able to liaise effectively with global teams

• CCIE (or equivalent) certification is a strong plus
