Product Development Manager (Home Textile)

Overview

A global leader in travel amenities is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the development of premium airline bags and pouches. This role blends creativity, technical expertise, and project management, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.

A typical day will include the following:

Product Development Leadership

• Oversee end-to-end development of bags, from concept to final approval.
• Ensure product quality, brand alignment, and timely delivery for presentations and tradeshows.
• Mentor and guide the product development team to foster growth and collaboration.

Supplier & Project Management

• Act as the key contact for factories and suppliers across Asia.
• Drive innovation while managing budgets, timelines, and production challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Process Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve product development processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and translate insights into actionable improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Degree holder with 8+ years of product development experience, including Home Textile product experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of bag construction, materials, and manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience working with Asian factories and resolving production issues.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
