Program Worker (Ref no. : PW - HEM2)

(Working Locations: Districts in Hong Kong Island, the Outlying Islands and Kwun Tong)

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of a 3-year health support project targeting ethnic minority families across Hong Kong Island, the Outlying Islands and Kwun Tong districts;

• Assist in the planning and implementation of outreach services, group activities and programs focused on health promotion and management for parents, children and families of ethnic minority;

• Perform administrative duties;

• Promote services, build community connections and recruit ethnic minority individuals and families;

• Shift duty is required, including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.

Requirements:

• HKCEE/HKDSE or above, with relevant experience in community service or program coordination is preferred;

• Proven experience in organizing activities and events;

• Proficient in computer application, including Microsoft Office;

• Proficiency in English and in a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepali;

• Ability to communicate in basic Chinese is an advantage.
