Job Description
Job Title: IT Governance Analyst (GM- APS)
Client: Investment bank
Department: CIB ITO APAC IT Production (GM & ALMT APS)
Position Purpose:
The APAC IT Production department provides IT Production services in a standardised, automated and digital model by implementing a common operating model with the other productions hubs and provide customised solutions, where appropriate, in close partnership with the Business. The department consists of Global Markets Application Production Support (Core & Corporate Banking APS in a second step), APAC IT Production and Production Security.
The APAC GM & ALMT IT APS group provides IT application production and support service to Global Markets and ALMT business and operations.
Key responsibilities
· Serve as an IT Governance Analyst for the APAC IT system platform, focusing on governance control for Global Markets
· Develop and generate reports using Python and SQL, and perform data analysis to support business decisions
· Create and visualize KPIs and business reports using MS Power BI to facilitate data-driven insights
· Implement process automations to streamline operational efficiency and reduce manual errors
· Prepare and coordinate steering committee meetings, including agenda, materials, and minutes
· Develop, maintain, and review system and process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Contribute to the Bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring a strong control environment
· Coordinate transversal IT projects, such as vulnerability management and obsolescence management, to ensure timely and effective execution
· Respond to ad-hoc requests and provide support as needed
Technical and Behavioral Competencies
· Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools, with the ability to apply these skills to real world problems
· Proficient in MS Power BI, with the ability to create and visualize reports and dashboards
· Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure setup, including databases, firewalls, and operating systems
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload, with a strong attention to detail
· Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
· Basic project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute small to medium-sized projects
Qualifications and Experience
· University qualification in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
· 1-5 years of experience in a related field, such as IT governance, data analysis, or business intelligence
· Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and data visualization
Excellent communication and client service skills, with fluency and proficiency in written and spoken English
