Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, quantitative analysis, economics, data science, marketing, business or a related discipline

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in market research, proposal and report writing, questionnaire design, quantitative and data analysis in Hong Kong and/or Mainland China

• Good analytical and report writing skills

• Proficiency and hands-on experience with SPSS, MS Excel & PowerPoint

• Experience of VBA and/or SQL, knowledge of statistical or analysis tools or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), R or Python will be an advantage

• Proven English proficiency & fluent Putonghua

• Strong business acumen, good communication, proactive, detail-minded, fast-learner, able to work independently to meet tight deadlines

• Able to work overtime, during weekends and public holidays

• Business travel to conduct fieldwork/research is required

Responsibilities:

• Manage and conduct market research projects throughout the whole research process for Hong Kong & Mainland China on customer behaviours & needs, market trends & sentiment, business development etc.

• Identifying research scope and requirements, preparing research and fieldwork, questionnaire designs, conducting appropriate formats of interviews such as in-depth and/or follow-up interviews

• Write research proposals by assessing different methodologies as well as adopting appropriate and efficient approaches and statistical tools for data analysis (e.g. Excel, SPSS)

• Design and write questionnaires and interview questions

• Write analytical reports and conduct presentations from business perspectives

• Analyze and derive insights from primary research, macro statistics, social media, and other relevant sources

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets, data processing, data coding and output

• Develop data analysis methods and automation requirements to enhance work efficiency

• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors / agencies on requirements

• Perform desk research, ad-hoc tasks and other related projects as assigned
