Our client, a leading financial services company in Hong Kong, is seeking a skilled Project Manager on a 12-month renewable contract. This role is pivotal in driving customer-centric digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end delivery of digital projects (e.g., mobile banking apps, digital claims platforms, robo-advisory tools, etc.) from initiation through to post-launch optimization.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Agile Delivery: Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Budget & Timeline Oversight: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure all digital solutions meet financial regulatory standards (HKMA, IA, GDPR, etc.) and internal governance policies.
• Customer Experience Focus: Work closely with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive, secure, and engaging digital experiences.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements of the Role

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in digital transformation, ideally within banking, insurance, or fintech.
• Proven track record of delivering complex digital products or platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
