Position Summary:

We are launching a new modular and customisable furniture model in Hong Kong and opening our first pilot store in Sha Tin. We are seeking a hands-on Operations Director to take full ownership of store operations, team leadership, workflow optimisation, and business performance—with the goal of building a scalable, repeatable model for future expansion across Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

Store & Business Operations

• Lead daily operations of the Sha Tin pilot store

• Build and refine SOPs across the full customer journey:
  sales → design/solution → on-site measurement → ordering → installation → after-sales

• Ensure excellence in customer experience, operational accuracy, and overall service quality
  

Team Leadership & Training

• Recruit, train, and manage store teams (Store Manager, Sales Consultants, Measurement Technicians)

• Implement performance management, coaching, and structured skills development

• Build a reliable, customer-focused, and execution-driven operations team
  

Cross-Border Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Mainland China production and engineering teams

• Coordinate production schedules, custom-size feasibility, and quality control

• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery
  

Business Scaling & Market Development

• Validate and optimise the “modular + custom-size” model for the Hong Kong market

• Develop SOPs, workflows, and systems for multi-store expansion

• Act as a key driver for growth, efficiency, and long-term scalability
  

Requirements:

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (strong experience also considered)

• 8+ years in home furnishing, custom furniture, home renovation, building materials, or retail

• 3+ years in multi-store operations or director-level store/business operations

• Experience with Hong Kong’s compact-home solutions strongly preferred

• Background in custom cabinetry, measurement, installation, or home project delivery is a major plus
  

Skills & Personal Qualities

• Strong leadership and hands-on operational management

• Solid command of retail KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, GM, installation accuracy, turnaround time)

• Excellent problem-solving, workflow management, and team development skills

• Reliable, honest, execution-focused, and not afraid to “get hands dirty”

• Fluent in Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency required for internal collaboration
