Information Technology Officer – Information Technology Services Centre (Ref: ITO (ITSC) 2025-11-28) 

Responsibilities:  

• install, configure and monitor IT/AV hardware and software;
• provide IT support for teaching activities, user and help desk operation;
• manage and control IT/AV facilities in the University;
• coordinate and manage large academic events;
• manage cybersecurity updates for campus computers;
• organise annual software deployment exercises for campus computers; and
• assist in vendor management, inventory, budget and maintenance for IT and AV equipment;

Applicants should: 

• possess a bachelor’s degree or above qualification in a related discipline;
• preferably have at least 3 years of relevant experience;
• have good knowledge of IT technologies;
• have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• have good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; and
• be pleasant with a positive mindset, good customer sense and willing to learn new technologies.

The appointee will be required to work shifts in the evenings, on weekends and on holidays.
