Applicants are invited for the above position in the Finance team of Generation Business Group. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Control, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following major duties:

• Plan and coordinate the budget compilation exercises, ensure the budgets are justified, timely prepared and updated for management approval;

• Perform periodical monitoring and reporting on the financial targets and variance analyses;

• Conduct cost analyses and drive for cost management initiatives to improve business performance;

• Provide professional advice and support to management and internal customers in relation to financial or control related matters; 

• Identify and implement changes to procedures and systems for process simplification and automation to drive for continuous improvements; 

• Implement an effective business control framework, reinforce control awareness and ensure adherence to the Company’s policies, practices and guidelines; and 

• Actively participate in cross-departmental task forces and ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs from time to time.

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in Accounting or Finance, and professional qualification issued by a recognized accountancy association;

• At least 7 years’ relevant working experience;

• Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese; and proficiency in Putonghua;

• Strong analytical mind and problem solving abilities with good business acumen; 

• Innovative, independent, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility; 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and proficiency in Power Apps and process automation tools is a plus;  

• Familiar with ERP systems would be an advantage;

• Candidate possesses less relevant working experience will also be considered for the position of Associate Manager – Financial Planning & Control.
