Objective

We are seeking a highly motivate and hands-on Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. This role is designed for an all-rounder with a proactive mindset, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is able to cover a broad range of finance-related tasks independently and efficiently.

What you’ll do

• Oversee and manage all daily financial and accounting function.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and complete the month end, quarter-end and year-end closing.

• Assist balance sheet reconciliation, manage intercompany accounts, perform expenditure and margin analysis.

• Assists in preparation of monthly cashflow and rolling forecast when needed.

• Prepare tax computation for monthly reporting and statutory tax filing purposes.  

• Coordinate internal and external audits; manage tax filings and compliances

• Supervise the reporting team, mentor and develop the team to enhance their performance and skills.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. operation team, HR) for month end closing and business needs.

• Ensure adherence to IFRS & Group policy and maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.

• Identify improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives across finance processes.

• Perform ad hoc assignments and support special projects as assigned.

Key qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in accounting and finance from MNC preferably, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Audit experience will be an advantage.

• Solid knowledge of financial operational process

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Navision) & Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience in accounting and finance from MNC

• Immediate available is definite an advantage
