We are a leading, high-growth hedge fund manager based in Hong Kong (HK) with a strong focus on investing in global technology. Our investment strategies have consistently achieved top-tier track records over the past 10 years. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a highly capable professional to strengthen our infrastructure team in the combined Operations and Risk functions.

The Role (Title Dependent on Experience)

This role requires an integrated approach to managing the fund's operational, financial, and compliance infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fund Operations & Financial Control:

  • Execute daily operational tasks across the trade life cycle, including trade booking, reconciliation, and settlement.

  • Responsible for critical financial reporting functions, specifically P&L reporting and Net Asset Value (NAV) verification.

• Risk Management & Analytics:

  • Perform comprehensive risk reporting, limits monitoring, and portfolio performance analytics.

  • Conduct quantitative risk assessments, including Value at Risk (VAR) analysis and scenario testing.

• Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:

  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements by performing compliance related tasks and monitoring regulatory limits.

  • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reporting to relevant authorities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience (MUST HAVE):

  • Core Experience: MUST have a solid fund operations background/knowledge acquired within the financial services industry.

  • Professional Tenure: Relevant work experience between 2 to 10 years is ideal (maximum is 15 years).

• Technical & System Skills (Highly Desired):

  • System Knowledge: Good knowledge and/or practical experience with major trading, portfolio management, and risk systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Enfusion, WIND, Factset, MSCI Barra, Arcana, Axioma).

  • Coding Capability (A Strong Plus): Proficiency in programming skill for automation and analytics (e.g., Python and C++) is a significant asset.

• Professional Development (A Plus):

  • Relevant Financial Qualifications are a plus (e.g., CPA, CFA, FRM, PRM, and CAIA).

• Work Ethic:

  • Demonstrated ability to work diligently and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
