About the Role

Our client is well known Financial Services Company in Hong Kong. We are seeking an experienced Multicloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate a multi-cloud Accelerator environment across platforms such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud. This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture design, automated deployment, and DevOps practices to enable scalable and secure solutions for advanced applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collect and analyze requirements from project owners, users, and stakeholders.

• Architecture Design: Design and implement multi-cloud architectures and infrastructure setups across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other platforms.

• Deployment & Operations: Configure virtual machines, networking components, nodes, and security measures to deploy and operationalize the Accelerator environment.

• Application Integration: Deploy and manage mBridge application within the Accelerator environment, including database management.

• Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain automated deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, and oversee CI/CD pipelines.

• Documentation: Create technical documentation, including deployment scripts, onboarding guides, and user manuals.

• Agile & DevOps: Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the Accelerator environment post-launch.

• Knowledge Transfer: Provide handover materials and training to project owners.

Requirements:

• Expertise in cloud architecture design across AWS and Alibaba Cloud (experience with Azure, GCP, Tencent Cloud is a plus).

• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of security protocols (SSL/TLS) and networking fundamentals.

• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) administration and scripting (Python, Bash).

• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Nginx, API integration (RESTful/SOAP), and databases (MySQL) is advantageous.

• Relevant cloud certifications and exposure to blockchain technologies are a plus.

• Strong communication skills in Cantonese (Chinese/Cantonese/Putonghua preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud deployments and cross-environment connectivity.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
