Job Summary

Reporting to the Quality Director (SDA), the QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance across our global sourcing operations.

This position involves technical analysis, quality assurance planning, testing oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives to support product development and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Product Quality Assurance


·       Develop and implement quality assurance protocols, standards, and test plans to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks.


·       Collaborate with internal Quality, Sourcing, and manufacturing partners to identify and resolve quality issues.


·       Conduct root cause analysis for quality failures and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).


2.      Testing and Inspection Oversight


·       Design, coordinate, and supervise product testing, including functional, durability, safety, and compliance tests.


·       Evaluate supplier quality systems and audit production processes to ensure adherence to company standards.


·       Review and approve product specifications, inspection plans, and sampling procedures.


3.      Data Analysis and Reporting


·       Analyse quality data, inspection results, and testing outcomes to identify trends and potential risks.


·       Prepare detailed quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.


 4.      Quality System Improvements


·       Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality process.


·       Participate in internal and external audits, and coordinate quality certification activities.


·       Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus).

·       Proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles, preferably in the household appliance industry (SDA) US and EU markets

·       Knowledge in US and EU safety standard, Chemical test (FCM, REACH , Rohs)

·       Knowledge in quality process (supplier / product development / inspection)  


·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.

·       Strong organizational and time-management skills.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


·       Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese.


·       Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
