Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of assistant engineers and superintendents and manage the maintenance of Lifts, Escalators and Walkways (LEW) system to ensure compliance with the latest design codes and practices, statutory and the Authority’s requirements
• Assist in formulating asset replacement plans and maintenance schedules for the LEW system and identify opportunities for the implementation of alteration and improvement works
• Conduct regular risk-based system review, system fault analysis and initiate improvements for the LEW System to ensure system robustness and enhance reliability
• Oversee asset inspection, handover and maintenance of new assets
• Assist in tender preparations for various maintenance contract renewals
• Assist in assessment of contractors’ claim and certification of works completion, control expenditures within the approved budget
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure operation and maintenance works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience is also considered
• Professional qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is preferred
• Solid experience in operation and/or maintenance of LEW system in the airport and/or sizable facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
• Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and project management software tools
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
