Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual audit plan

• Plan, supervise, perform and complete audit assignments based on risk assessment and preliminary evaluation of internal controls

• Manage and complete audit assignments according to annual audit plan

• Identify root cause of the weaknesses, recommend internal control improvements to various units and prepare audit reports for management

• Perform follow-up review/verification on the effectiveness and timeliness of remedial actions taken for the findings raised by the regulators, internal and external audit

• Carry out special investigation projects and other ad hoc assignments whenever required

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting, Business Administration or Banking & Finance or equivalent qualifications

• Holders of professional qualification of HKICPA, CIA, FRM or equivalent qualifications are preferred

• Minimum 10 years’ audit experience, preferably in the banking sector or professional firms

• Sound knowledge of auditing and accounting standards

• Good knowledge of major banking processes and related regulatory requirements

• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills

• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
